Hiran, a son of Santillano, will face Bailarín de Venecia and Camuflaje on the San Isidro straight

With a solid conditional card—likely to see most races moved to the dirt—the Handicap Kendal will provide the high-level flair for this Saturday's meeting at the Hipódromo de San Isidro. Scheduled over 1,000 meters on the turf, the race features Hiran (Santillano) as a strong contender, though he faces a varied group of rivals.
Carrying 61 1/2 kilos, the Stud Inclusión runner seeks to return to the winning path after finishing fourth, 2 1/2 lengths behind the great champion Labrado (Le Blues), in the Clásico General Viamonte (G3). Previously, carrying 61 kilos, he had comfortably taken the Clásico Gentlemen, albeit against a different caliber of opponents.
Stepping up to challenge him, while carrying the top weight of 62 units, is Bailarín de Venecia (Angiolo), whose form has been inconsistent of late—capable of winning the Clásico Cyllene (G2) in a romp, just as easily as finishing a dull fifth in the Clásico Jerry Honor.
After 227 days away, Camuflaje (Orpen, 59 1/2) returns to the fray, receiving weight from the main contenders. The bay signed off with a fourth-place finish in the Clásico Lamadrid (L), but prior to that, he had dead-heated for first with El Romancero (Il Campione) in the Clásico Necochea (L). The latter will also be in the starting gates now, though going through a very different run of form.
Another runner who is not exactly a model of consistency is Secreto a Voces (Springdom, 54), who will carry a suggestively light weight, while for those seeking longshot prices, perhaps trusting Amante Trovador (Angiolo, 52) could help...
