With the first quarter of 2026 in the books, the Stud Book Argentino has released its seasonal statistics, confirming established leaders across the major divisions. Il Campione (Scat Daddy) continues his reign as the leading sire, while Haras El Paraíso leads the breeders, Orpen (Lure) tops the broodmare sire list, and Pauli sets the pace for owners. Thor Medina (Mootasadir) leads all individual runners in earnings as he prepares for the Gran Premio Latinoamericano (G1).

Fortify (Distorted Humor) occupies the second spot but trails by more than $100 million pesos. Daddy Long Legs (Scat Daddy) and Le Blues (Roman Ruler) follow in third and fourth, respectively, while the young sire Strategos (Zensational) has cracked the top five with only his second crop on the track.

The strength of Haras El Paraíso is evident, as they stand three of the top five stallions. The farm has recorded $766,549,128 pesos in earnings and 95 wins so far this year. Haras La Pasión sits in the runner-up spot, followed by Firmamento, Vacación, and Abolengo.

In the broodmare sire ranks, Orpen has already surpassed the $400 million pesos mark, with his daughters producing five stakes winners this season. Easing Along (Storm Cat) and Sebi Halo (Southern Halo) are locked in a close battle for second, while Catcher In the Rye (Danehill) and Pure Prize (Storm Cat) remain highly competitive in the vanguard.

Pauli has been the standout performer among owners, boasting a remarkable 48 percent winning efficiency. They lead Rubio B. by over $55 million pesos. Los Patrios, Firmamento, and San Benito round out the top five stables.

On the track, Thor Medina (Mootasadir) is the seasonal earnings leader with $52,520,000, anchored by his Grade 1triumph in the Miguel A. Martínez de Hoz. Other top earners through March 31 include the 3-year-old filly Embozada Rim (Remote), the colt The Great Terms (The Great Day), and veteran performers El Emporio (Il Campione) and Comando Secreto (War Command).
