LA PLATA.- Young speed will once again take center stage, this time at La Plata, where Tuesday’s 11-race card is highlighted by the Clásico Vit Reina (1000m, dirt).

Only seven fillies are set to line up, and the field is so evenly matched that it’s hard to pinpoint a clear favorite. Perhaps preference should go to Infancia Feliz, a daughter of Angiolo carrying the colors of Stud Tres Jotas and trained by Ángel Piana.

A distant seventh on debut, she quickly redeemed herself with an impressive seven-length romp over Teba (Mootasadir) at this same distance, winning with ease.

Having earned her diploma after two runner-up efforts, Domani (Señor Candy) ran well against winners last time out, finishing third, five lengths behind Let Me Dance (Le Blues). That experience could prove valuable here.

La Farce (Emmanuel) broke her maiden early in her career but failed to make an impact in two subsequent stakes attempts, though the class exposure may benefit her now, especially with the cutback in distance. She was only a length behind Roshita (Gouverneur Morris) at Palermo in the G2 Saturnino J. Unzué, and then finished third here behind the possibly sold Citana (Endorsement) in the G3 Fortunato Damiani. She returns to the straight course with legitimate claims.

It was debut and win for Llamame a La Tarde (Presagio Key), who now steps up in class looking to confirm the strong impression she left first out, while Mimosa Grey (Zensational) also enters off a maiden score in the lowest ranks.

Leshuga (Lucky Island) has already tasted victory at this track, though she finished fifth in both her subsequent starts. Lastly, there is Texana Rye (Nashville Texan), who debuted just 10 days ago at Palermo, finishing fourth, eight lengths back, in a large field down the straight.
