Hearts stopped at the 150-meter mark of the Premio Sevilla Halo (1200m, dirt), the eleventh race of the day at San Isidro and one of the premier allowance races on the card.

At that moment, Lance Letal (Lencelot), with Brian Enrique at the reins, suffered an injury, and the jockey could not avoid the fall. Trailing behind, Oíme Bien (Daddy Long Legs), ridden by apprentice Rodrigo A. Ortíz, collided with the downed horse, sending the rider airborne and striking the ground violently.

The ambulance arrived quickly to attend to the injured professionals. Anxiety was palpable until reports on their health were released; beyond the impact, a sense of calm began to settle in.

Both Enrique and Ortíz were immediately transported to the Clínica de la Trinidad, where they remained hospitalized for several hours under observation and in a conscious state.

After the necessary examinations, Dr. Horacio Focaraccio, Head of the Medical Service at San Isidro, detailed that: "Rodrigo Ortíz presented a clavicle fracture in his right shoulder and will have a consultation with a specialist this Thursday before undergoing surgery. He was discharged late at night.

"Brian Enrique, meanwhile, has a partial fracture of the femur in his right leg and will also need to be evaluated by a specialist to determine the next steps."
