The horse of Sky Racing will run this Saturday at Meydan in the Burj Nahaar (G3), thinking about reaching the Godolphin Mile (G2)

For a long time now, South America has been a protagonist in different fields in the Meydan International Carnival, whether because of its horses or because of the many professionals born in our part of the world.
For what will be a new edition of Super Saturday, there will again be several points where to push. For example, the Argentine Legalaized (Dabster) will run the Jumeirah 2000 Guineas (L), or the Chilean Mufasa (Practical Joke) will have it tough in the Mahab Al Shimaal (G3).
But there is another of the central races where to place the gaze: the Burj Nahaar (G3-1,600 m, dirt), prior to the Godolphin Mile (G2), and where the coaching duo integrated by the Brazilian Antonio Cintra and the UruguayanJulio Olascoaga will play a nice card with the veteran Mount Kosciuszko (National Defense).
The grey has been one of the flag bearers of Sky Racing, and his last performance pushed the professionals to enter him without hesitation in a generally even race. With Silvestre de Sousa in his irons, he lost due to stumbling in the Jebel Ali Mile (L), in Jebel Ali, and hence so many expectations.
"The horse arrives great at the race. A month ago he hit the post at Meydan, starting from 16, and in Jebel Ali he also had problems that prevented him from finishing ahead," says Olascoaga, still with blood in his eye after two victories that escaped for nothing.
Then, he adds: "He has been with us for a year and a half. He came with a hip fracture, he rehabilitated and began to progress and climb in rating. Now he is at a very good level. There are a couple of horses that should be a step above, but Mount Kosciuszko I think will define. In addition, Mickael Barzalona will ride him, who is toned up, inspired and confident. Hopefully we have a good development and he can define. He deserves it."
Mount Kosciuszko is the bet of Cintra and Olascoaga for the Burj Nahaar, the same test where 1 year ago the Argentine Oasis Boy (Asiatic Boy) was second to nothing. There is a chemistry with South America floating around. Hopefully it extends...
