Older turf mares will have one of their final prep opportunities for the upcoming Gran Premio Copa de Plata (G1) this Saturday at San Isidro, where the Clásico Los Haras (G2) will be run over 2200 meters on heavy turf following significant rainfall Friday and early Saturday.

A compact yet competitive field of seven will go to post, with Knows All standing out as the likely favorite. Bred and raced by Haras Gran Muñeca, the daughter of Le Blues is coming off the best performance of her career, having captured the Clásico La Mission (G2) in mid-August by 1 1/2 lengths over the now-absent Romana Craf(Mastercraftsman), asserting herself strongly through the final furlong.

The task now is to confirm that level of form, though she will face stern opposition from the improving Argomasa(Lucullan) and the seasoned Noche Alta (Hi Happy). The former looked sharp winning the Clásico Sierra Balcarce on Palermo’s turf, while the latter—proven at the mile—will step up significantly in trip after taking the Clásico Sibila (G2)over 1600 meters.

Consistent performer Maximiana (Treasure Beach), last seen springing a mild upset in the Handicap Contraventora, will seek to climb higher in the division, a goal shared by Miss Talento (Equal Stripes), who arrives off a victory in the Handicap Mouchette.

Lancara (Manipulator), third in the Clásico Didia, and Besitos de Amor (Besitos) complete the field for what promises to be a well-balanced renewal of the Clásico Los Haras.
