Just one week after La Generación brought its breeding chapter to a close, La Esperanza, the operation of Raúl Lottero, will offer its final stock this Sunday in an online format

As of tomorrow, Haras La Esperanza will become part of Argentine racing history. Beginning at 5 p.m., the farm will host its final and unreserved dispersal through the (Arg) Sales platform, offering its broodmares, 2024 foals, and several horses in training.
A spinoff of Haras Vacación, the operation of Raúl Lottero produced multiple Group 1 winners including Ídolo Porteño (Jump Start), Special Dubai (E Dubai), Fiesta Lady (Southern Halo), Ejecutor (Asiatic Boy), and Ondina Dubai (E Dubai), preserving the deep female lines long associated with the family’s breeding tradition. Just a week after La Generación held its dispersal, it’s now La Esperanza’s turn to say goodbye—an echo of the difficult times facing both the national turf and the country at large.
A total of 49 lots will go under the virtual hammer, with pre-bidding already open and offering the usual discounts to early participants.
Headlining the broodmare roster is Sanamia (Exchange Rate), dam of G1 winner Special Dubai, and herself a daughter of G2 winner Sarapia (Roy) and granddaughter of the celebrated Saragosse (Political Ambition). She sells in foal to Il Campione (Scat Daddy).
Another standout is Baronesa Asiática (Asiatic Boy), a dual stakes winner in the G3 Clásico General Las Heras and the Handicap Petite Ecurie, hailing from the family of G1 winners Bartola (Roy), Bambina Mía (Giant's Causeway), and Badajo (Roy). She is in foal to champion Hi Happy (Pure Prize).
Also cataloged is Saragossa (Jump Start), out of the aforementioned Saragosse, and already the dam of dual stakes winner Saragossa City (Seek Again). She is offered in foal to champion Ivar (Agnes Gold).
Other mares of interest include Spacial Queen (Seek Again), Baronesa Porteña (Footstepsinthesand), dam of Baronesa Asiática; and G2-placed Accionadora (E Dubai).
Among the 2024 foals on offer are:
Special Lady (Señor Candy), a full sister to G1 winner Special Dubai
Barón Oriental (Ivar), out of G3 winner Baronesa Asiática
Baldonero (Forge), a half-brother to Baronesa Asiática
Empiric Love (Señor Candy) and Ember City (Forge), grandchildren of G1 winner Estricta (Roy)
Early Adopter (Mutasaabeq), out of G2-placed Early Start (Jump Start)
With such a depth of quality and proven performance, La Esperanza’s final curtain call is sure to leave a lasting impact on the South American bloodstock landscape.
