The farm will offer its Grand Auction of broodmares and horses in training between Tuesday and Thursday, starting at 2:00 p.m. at the Solís tattersall; the stallion Red Route One will be officially presented

The auction season in Argentina will have its kick-off this Tuesday with the first of two days involving the Grand Auction of Haras La Pasión, which will disperse broodmares and horses in training due to a stock reduction.

With a total of 71 lots, the setting will be the Tattersall of Haras Solís, the long-standing facilities of Ricardo Benedicto's farm that were sold a few months ago, now making their debut for their current owners.

Select pedigrees, strong pregnancies, and several lots to continue competing with hope will face market expectations at a time that looks complicated both at a national and racing level. The general economy has yet to fully recover, despite the prevailing stability, and within the industry, lackluster purses and high costs are putting pockets to the test. But, as is well known, horse racing always finds a way to look forward, continue dreaming, and put passion ahead of bills...

It will be a special moment for La Pasión, as it will officially present Red Route One, the notable son of Gun Runnermaking his debut at their stallion station—now located at the La Madrugada field—as part of a joint venture with La Nora and Firmamento.

On Tuesday and Thursday, sales will begin at 2:00 p.m. under the hammer of Antonio Bullrich S.A., with a preview starting at 1:00 p.m. La Pasión will raffle one service to Red Route One among all buyers on each of those dates.

The group of broodmares passing through the ring includes daughters of Equal Stripes (Candy Stripes), Easing Along (Storm Cat), Intérprete (Farnesio), Lizard Island (Danehill Dancer), Mutakddim (Seeking the Gold), Giant's Causeway (Storm Cat), Exchange Rate (Danzig), Not for Sale (Parade Marshal), Fortify (Distorted Humor), Bernstein (Storm Cat), and Honour and Glory (Relaunch), among others, in foal to Gouverneur Morris(Constitution), Il Mercato (Not for Sale), King Guillermo (Uncle Mo), Mutasaabeq (Into Mischief), Dr. Post(Quality Road), Hiper Happy (Cityscape), and Cityscape (Selkirk).

Among the training lots, offspring of Gouverneur Morris, Il Mercato, Equal Stripes, and Santillano (Easing Along) are offered.

In the catalog review, there is no shortage of candidates for the top price, such as Rolling Tina (Yankee Victor), dam of classic winners Ramblera (Easing Along) and Raons (Lizard Island); the recent winner of the Especial Guatán, Rollanda (Bodemeister); and Rosheen (Easing Along), who produced G1 winner Roshita (Gouverneur Morris).

The G1 winner Smashing Glory (Honour and Glory); classic winners or producers City Lion (Lion Heart), Shy Cubana (Violence), City Map (Zensational), Cuántica (Intérprete), Embellish (Editor's Note), Embrasement(Mutakddim), Le Chateau (Chester House), Niccola (Exchange Rate), Picadilly Circus (Not for Sale), Pussycat Doll (Mutakddim), Stormy Purposeful (Bernstein), Tintura de Miel (Not for Sale), and Volkova (Easing Along) also generate interest.

To all of them must be added mares of very strong genetics like Stasina (Il Mercato) and Nahir Gu (Equal Stripes), both daughters of the G1 winner Stormy Ninguna (Bernstein) and sisters to Joy Nima (Fortify) and Ninguneando(Bodemeister).
