LA PLATA.— The Southern Oval has put together a thoroughly entertaining 12-race program for this Sunday, highlighted by a triple feature that is headlined by the Clásico Diego White (G3-1,700m, dirt), the traditional stepping stone between the Clásico Polla de Potrancas (G2) and the Gran Premio Selección de Potrancas (G1).

Additionally, the card offers another key opportunity for 3-year-old fillies over 1,100 meters in the Clásico Wilfredo Latham (L), capped off by the Especial Sociedad Hipódromo Chile (1,100m), open to all horses 4 years old and up with three or more victories to their credit.

The White will pit several key protagonists of the juvenile division against each other, led by Siesta (Cityscape). Trained by Marcelo Sueldo, she comes off a second-place finish, six lengths behind Personal Filly (Dabster), in the Polla. Prior to that effort, the chestnut had won with authority in the Clásico Raúl Aristegui (G2) and now seeks to return to winning ways.

Standing in her path is the rapidly improving Xurra (Forge), who delivered an eye-catching performance in the Clásico Miguel Luis Morales (G2) and now looks to establish herself among the top tier.

Salema (Il Mercato), also under Marcelo Sueldo's care, counts the Clásico Andrés S. Torres (G3) among her credentials alongside several notable placings, while Missing You (Señor Candy) finished third in the Morales in a promising effort.

In the Latham, the Cordoban filly Candylejas (Señor Candy) will try to keep her undefeated record intact following her winning debut at Palermo. She faces the seasoned Amiguita Casual (Todo Un Amiguito) and A Plena Luz (Angiolo), who returns to La Plata after breaking her maiden downtown.

Finally, the Especial promises a fierce sprint battle, with the mare Maylena (Qué Vida Buena, 60 kg) taking on the males while shouldering the high weight of 60 kilos. The red-hot Hit It a Bou (Hit It a Bomb, 54 kg), Foggy Champ (Il Campione, 54 kg), and Redentor Scat (Knockout, 54 kg) stand out as her formidable rivals.
