Midweek racing at San Isidro is rarely rich in high-profile competition, and this Wednesday's program followed that familiar pattern. Still, a trio of promising 3-year-olds stood out on the dirt auxiliary track, with Limit EditionConi Bouclette, and Alive and Kicking delivering polished victories that highlighted the day's action.

In the Premio Endeavour, for 3-year-old colts and geldings with one prior win, Limit Edition (Il MercatoFornarina Rye, by Catcher In the Rye) validated his strong favoritism in style. Drawn on the rail, the Haras Firmamentohomebred, campaigned by El Quijote Stable of Neuquén, tracked the pace along the inside under Jorge Peralta, made his move around the far turn, and steadily edged away in the stretch to score by 3 lengths over Sampieri (Treasure Beach) in 1:36.27 for the mile. Pablo Dotzel trains the chestnut.

In the very next race, the fillies took center stage in the Premio Perfect Delivery, a parallel event also contested over a mile. Coni Bouclette (MarconiPeinadora Nistel, by Van Nistelrooy) proved equally dominant. Bred by Haras La Generación and carrying the colors of Stud Abu Manza, the gray filly saved ground early, angled out into the clear turning for home, and surged down the lane to win by 1 1/2 lengths over Global Pancha (Global Hunter) in 1:36.57. She was the first half of a double for jockey Wilson Moreyra, who later captured the Handicap Full Sail with Operístico, and is trained by Juan Oural.

Rounding out the trio of highlights was Alive and Kicking (Tiz the LawCloud Ten, by Gleneagles), a European-timed homebred for Firmamento, who made it third time lucky in the Premio Enjoy Dubai, a traditional open division race for 3-year-olds. Backed by strong credentials, she stalked the pace and kicked clear smartly under Martín Valle, stopping the clock in a sharp 1:09.99 for 1200 meters and defeating Exactly Right (Cosmic Trigger) by 3 lengths. Carlos D. Etchechoury trains the filly, completing a double on the card with Valle.
