The Gran Premio Enrique Acebal (G1) assembled 16 3-year-old fillies, while the Gran Premio Copa de Oro - Alfredo Lalor (G1) drew 12 entries, featuring several top-flight Group 1 winners. On Saturday, November 7, a total of 170 million pesos in purse money will be up for grabs on the turf track

A winner of the Polla de Potrancas (G1), the victor of the last Gran Premio Nacional (G1), and the defending champion of the Gran Premio Copa de Oro (G1) will all be in action, among others, on Saturday, November 7, at Hipódromo de San Isidro. The closing of entries left 16 candidates for the Gran Premio Enrique Acebal (G1-2000 m) and 12 for the Gran Premio Copa de Oro - Alfredo Lalor (G1-2400 m), a high-caliber double feature on the turf that brought together top-tier names and will offer 170 million pesos in total purse money.

In the Acebal, Look At To Me (Dabster) stands out, representing Al Adiyaat after capturing the Polla de Potrancas (G1) by four lengths before falling by just a neck to Robate Un Beso (Uncle Chuck) in the Gran Premio Selección (G1) at Palermo. The pupil of Juan Franco Saldivia will face a new test: having competed exclusively on dirt until now, she must transfer her class to the turf.

Deep Feeling (Seahenge) emerges as one of her main rivals. The Color Tango filly comes off her biggest career victory against older horses in the Clásico Carlos P. Rodríguez (G2) over the turf mile, narrowly defeating Verenna(Cosmic Trigger). Conditioned by Ezequiel Sánchez, she arrives on a steady rise, though she must now navigate an additional 400 meters.

Also prominent is Siesta (Cityscape), winner of the Clásico Raúl Aristegui (G2) and Clásico Diego White (G3) and second in the Selección de Potrancas (G1) at La Plata over 2,000 meters. The charge of Marcelo Sueldo already knows the San Isidro turf, although she could do no better than fifth in the Clásico Federico de Alvear (G2). In that contest, Risk Free (Outstrip) and Oasis Moon (Dabster) finished second and third, two other entrants providing direct form lines over the course.

Gunakali (King Guillermo) arrives off a spectacular maiden victory by 10 lengths over the same 2,000 meters on turf, having previously finished runner-up in the Clásico Francisco J. Beazley (G2) at Palermo. Ruby Rose (Il Campione), placed in the Carreras de las Estrellas Juvenile Fillies (G1), La Santa Cándida (Santillano), and Tantas Veces (Cosmic Trigger), fourth in the Selección at Palermo after winning on debut at San Isidro, complete a field rich in varied experience and potential.

The Copa de Oro will feature a special draw: Acento Final (Treasure Beach) will attempt to repeat his 2025 triumph, when he prevailed by half a neck over Vota Bien (Hi Happy). Also winner of the Gran Premio Jockey Club (G1) and Gran Premio General San Martín (G1), the defender of Stud Macul comes off a head defeat to Out Of The Blue(Drosselmeyer) in the Clásico Chacabuco (G2) and retains all the credentials to be a primary protagonist once more.

He will not lack opposition. Honest Boy (Heliostatic), winner of the 2025 Gran Premio 25 de Mayo (G1), is fresh off capturing the Clásico Yatasto (G3) over the 2,400 meters at San Isidro by just a head over Cazador de Areco (Long Island Sound). Both figure among the potential starters again, joined by Neat Colt (Treasure Beach), the surprising winner of the Gran Premio Estrellas Classic (G1) in June over 2,000 meters and most recently fourth in the Yatasto.

Gordianus (Señor Candy), winner of the 2025 Gran Premio Nacional (G1), will seek to transfer his stamina capabilities to the grass, while Equal Mostaza (Equal Stripes), Full Keynote (Full Mast), Curious Song (Sixties Song), the aforementioned Out Of The Blue, Don Logrado (Fortify), and Señor Sandro (Cityscape) further elevate the depth of a contest that serves as a key stepping stone toward the Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini (G1).

Purse distribution will be 100 million pesos for the Acebal, with 50 million reserved for the winner, and 70 million pesos for the Copa de Oro, with 35 million going to the victor. On Monday, November 2, at 12:00 p.m., the deadline for scratchings and jockey assignments will close, with the post position draw scheduled for Tuesday, November 3.

Final ratifications remain pending, but the entries promise two Group 1 events of the highest order, the kind that will begin shaping many of the season's premier divisions.
