Los Turfistas and Tres Jotas prepare a new spring celebration

A draft of 34 yearlings boasting outstanding pedigrees will go under the hammer this Saturday in Capitán Sarmiento, with Racehorse handling the auctioneering duties. Spring will host one of its most anticipated celebrations this Saturday along Route 8. At the facilities of Haras Los Turfistas in Capitán Sarmiento, the dream of a new racehorse, stellar pedigrees, and a friendly atmosphere will converge once again, turning this joint auction with Haras Tres Jotas into much more than a routine sale.

Featuring live music, numerous guests, and a space specially designed to enjoy the day, the event has earned a signature spot on the commercial calendar.

The Racehorse sales company will conduct the auction of 34 yearlings, offering a catalog packed with stakes-producing families and featuring the progeny of Angiolo (Grand Reward), Daddy Long Legs (Scat Daddy), Capensis (Tapit), champion Le Blues (Roman Ruler), Remote (Dansili), Il Campione (Scat Daddy), and Lucullan(Hard Spun).

The organizers head into this new edition backed by results that speak for themselves. Over recent seasons, several top-class runners have emerged from their paddocks, but one name stands out above the rest: Pulp Fiction, winner of the Gran Premio Polla de Potrancas (G1) and one of the premier performers of her generation.

Fittingly, one of the lots set to command major attention will be Películas, a full-sister to that classic winner. Foaled on September 2, she hails from a family that has delivered consistent success, also being a half-sister to Piu (Leofric), third in the Clásico Old Man (G3), as well as several other winners. Proven bloodlines and current form combine in a filly destined to be one of the afternoon's main attractions.

Another lot of tremendous interest is Luna de Ámbar, a daughter of Daddy Long Legs and full-sister to Lunfardo, who achieved his career-best victory this season by capturing the Clásico Old Man (G3). Furthermore, she is a half-sister to Mónaco (Catcher In the Rye), a six-time winner in Chile including at the stakes level—a line known for precocity, speed, and durability.

Also by Daddy Long Legs comes Flipa, a half-sister to Foto Mental (Leofric), winner of the Clásico Joaquín V. Maqueda (G3), adding further weight to a catalog abundant in recent black-type output.

Occupying the same realm is Fiesta de Fiestas (Daddy Long Legs), a full-sister to Savitar, a G3 winner and G1-placed runner in Chile, while also tracing maternally to Atomicka, another G3 winner in that country. His pedigree mirrors that of Es Aristocrático, the son of Angiolo who established himself as one of the leading sprinters in recent years at La Plata, piling up notable performances in the division's most demanding tests.

Another prominent entry is Traición, a daughter of Daddy Long Legs and Perfecta Miranda (Horse Greeley). She is the first foal out of a mare who defeated colts in the Clásico Latency (L) on the San Isidro turf, leaving a lasting impression with her courage and versatility. The pairing of a stakes-winning dam with one of the market's most sought-after stallions offers ample reason to make her one of the sale's most coveted fillies.

Meanwhile, Holanda (Daddy Long Legs) is out of Hilu (Seeking Daylight), a half-sister to champion Hi Happy and G1 winners Hispanidad and Hinz, all sired by Pure Prize (Storm Cat).
