The sire from Gran Muñeca makes headlines; Firmamento, Key Deputy, and Pauli lead in the other categories

Early speed is one of the most precious assets in the world of horse racing, which is why so much interest is given to everything that happens during the first semester. Well, in that arena, and at the end of the fourth month of activity, the stallion Made You Look makes headlines with his first generation on the tracks, leading in his category.
By More Than Ready, and therefore a continuer of the sire line of the incomparable Southern Halo (Halo), the Gran Muñeca stallion supported his crop through the filly Gota Clara Sos, a triple stakes winner, which allows him to maintain small differences over The Great Day (Harlan's Holiday), who is once again standing out.
Gran Muñeca has another of its stallions in third place, Full Mast (Mizzen Mast), with Distinctiv Passion (With Distinction) and Strategos (Zensational) completing the top 5. It is worth noting that Made You Look is the only freshman sire among them.
In terms of breeders, the battle is also close between Firmamento and the aforementioned Gran Muñeca, with a small margin for the former. El Paraíso holds the final step of the podium, ahead of Vacación and Vikeda.
Key Deputy (Deputy Minister), who was an exceptional sire among early types—and much more—appears at the top of the broodmare sire ranking, combining very well with sons of Made You Look and Full Mast, including Gota Clara Sosand Siete Lagos. The margin is minimal over Sebi Halo (Southern Halo), with Catcher In the Rye (Danehill) entering the conversation in third. Equal Stripes (Candy Stripes) and Fortify (Distorted Humor) follow.
Among the stables, there is a solid leader in Pauli, whose juveniles won 8 races for 2-year-olds. Gran Muñeca—which bred the former's jewels—is second, with Araci's, Don Valentino, and Al Adiyaat in the following positions of the standings.
In terms of individual runners, the filly Gota Clara Sos earned 35,370,000 pesos in prizes thanks to 4 victories and leads the undefeated The Great Terms (The Great Day). The already sold Chichipío (Angiolo), Embozada Rim (Remote), and Cardo Castilla (Strategos) round out the initial top 5.
While May will show names that strengthen and others that change, ahead of several important races for the crop, the numbers are already beginning to show a trend.
