Everything is set for the next two race days at Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, scheduled for Friday, May 30, and Monday, June 2, with three stakes races headlining the action as the countdown continues toward the Carreras de las Estrellas.
The first of those meetings will feature the Clásico Malvinas Argentinas (L), to be run over 2000 meters on the dirt for 3-year-olds and up, offering a 13,250,000 pesos purse to the winner. Originally with 10 entries, the race saw the withdrawals of Uqayr (Brz) (Hat Trick) and Sueño Secreto (Equal Stripes), leaving a final field of eight:
Endor Rye (Endorsement)

Friday’s card will include 15 races in total, starting at 1:00 p.m. and ending around 8:00 p.m., with the feature scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The program also includes maiden events for 2-year-olds.
On Monday, the action shifts toward the straight course, with two sprint stakes geared toward the Estrellas Sprint divisions organized by the Fundación Equina Argentina.
Top billing goes to the Clásico Coronel Pringles, open to 3-year-olds and up over 1000 meters. The standout name is El Mejor Recuerdo (Il Campione), the Rosario-based speedster who recently conquered the G1 Gran Premio Ciudad de Buenos Aires on May 1. The list of challengers includes:

Santa Calma (Qué Vida Buena)
Un Cotorro (Galicado)
Vida Amorosa (Safety Check)
Meanwhile, the 2-year-old division will be represented by the Clásico General Lavalle (G3, 1000m). Notably, leading juvenile filly Sarzana Pass (Distinctiv Passion), dominant on this surface, was not confirmed. The final field of seven includes:
Antiguo Secreto (Angiolo)
Campo Verde (Strategos)
El Fortín (Il Campione)
Exclamación Pass (Distinctiv Passion)
