The daughter of Fortify comes into the prestigious event as the clear standout after a dominant 9-length victory in the G2 Clásico Bullrich, and will now look to confirm her superiority

There will be plenty on the line in the Gran Premio Criadores (G1-2000m, dirt), the prestigious event for fillies and mares three and up and a major highlight of the May 1 program at the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo.
Winning at the highest level is always special, but when that glory comes with two additional rewards, the stakes rise even higher. The Criadores not only serves as the final leg of the Campeonato Palermo de Oro for older females, but also offers an automatic berth into the Breeders’ Cup Distaff (G1) at Del Mar through the Challenge Series: Win and You’re In program, giving connections every reason to dream big.
The task, of course, is far from easy. Among the top contenders is Martana, a regally bred daughter of Fortify, who enters off a devastating 9-length romp in the Clásico Arturo R. y Arturo Bullrich (G2). That day, she made light work of Sarawak Rim (Remote), who will again be in the gate looking for redemption, though a serious form reversal will be needed.
Ceniza Pampa (Hat Ninja), third behind Martana in that Bullrich, came right back to land the Gran Premio Gilberto Lerena (G1), confirming the strong form. That makes Martana’s previous win look all the more impressive.
Presencial (Suggestive Boy), runner-up to Ceniza Pampa in the Lerena and trained by Roberto Bullrich, brings consistency and heart every time she shows up, while Orpen Rimout (Remote), carrying the colors of Los Apóstoles, is looking to break through with a signature performance.
Also in the mix is Romana Craf (Mastercraftsman), runner-up in the Copa de Plata (G1) but a disappointment in the Lerena, and International Look (Cosmic Trigger), a model of consistency and always in with a shout.
