Estrellas Mile and Gran Premio de las Américas Winner Scratched from Monday’s Palermo Feature; Holy Holy Rim and Acento Final now dream bigger

Although Monday’s card at Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo lacks a standout program, there is significant anticipation surrounding the Clásico Perú (G2-1800m, dirt), where this morning it was confirmed that El Éxito, the leading miler on the main track in Buenos Aires and aiming to stretch out, will not be taking part.
The absence of the Il Campione son, who is enjoying a remarkable season unbeaten in five starts, including victories in the Good Manners, El Virtuoso (G3), and Benito Villanueva (G2) stakes, capped by wins in the prestigious Gran Premio de las Américas – OSAF (G1) and Estrellas Mile (G1)—the latter achieved after paying a hefty supplemental fee—levels the playing field considerably.
With that, the mantle of favorite now passes to Holy Holy Rim (Remote), the rising star for Stud O.S. The colt recently scored an eye-catching win in the Clásico Malvinas Argentinas (L), before delivering a solid fourth-place finish behind Need You Tonight (Hat Ninja) in the Gran Premio Estrellas Classic (G1), beaten only 3 ¼ lengths.
Holy Holy Rim finished just behind Acento Final (Treasure Beach), the reigning Gran Premio Jockey Club (G1) champ, who made a promising dirt debut in the Estrellas day event, placing third and showing marked improvement under trainer Nicolás Martín Ferro. His presence adds another wrinkle to what looked like a one-horse race.
Also stepping up to the mile is Storm Sound (Hi Happy), a fresh winner of the Clásico About Today, well known for his consistent and courageous efforts.
Jardín Secreto (Endorsement), runner-up by a length to Holy Holy Rim in the Malvinas Argentinas, arrives facing a tougher test and could spring a surprise.
Descamisado (Cosmic Trigger), who pressured El Éxito closely in the Estrellas Mile—finishing just half a length behind—also looks to make an impact now with even higher aspirations.
Rounding out the field is the improving Tiznow Forever (Midshipman), stepping up as a dark horse, and Votá Bien (Hi Happy), a winner under the confident handling of jockey Francisco Leandro.
