The Domingo-trained filly takes center stage, though the versatile Tranquila Señora and Let Me Dance promise to make things anything but easy for the favorite

LA PLATA.- The entertaining card lined up for this Saturday at Hipódromo El Bosque will feature another key attraction in the Clásico Wilfredo Latham (L, 1100 meters, dirt), a traditional assignment for sprinting fillies at a stage of the season when 3-year-old specializations are starting to emerge.
A competitive field of eight is set to go to the gate, offering contenders for every preference. Mimosa Grey (Zensational)will seek her third straight win after breaking her maiden and following up with a comfortable victory in the Clásico Vit Reina.
For the Martín and Andrés Domingo trainee, nothing will come easy, particularly with the presence of northern raider Tranquila Señora, Fortify’s reserve from Vacación, who has finished first in two of her three starts. She broke her maiden over the Palermo dirt by a head over Empress Girl (Legión de Honor), faltered in the Junior Sprint (G1) de las Estrellas, but bounced back in her most recent start on San Isidro’s soft, diagonal turf, scoring by two lengths over Emisora Mundial (Santillano). She has already shown versatility, so her local debut is not expected to be a concern.
Undefeated in two starts here, Let Me Dance (Le Blues) returns after a disappointing effort in the Clásico Guillermo Paats (L) at Palermo, where she finished last behind Antiguo Secreto (Angiolo).
Starry Bomb (Hit It a Bomb) is the choice for Omar Labanca and Lautaro Balmaceda, arriving at this engagement in form off a facile conditional-level victory. She carries just 121 pounds, and seeing her at the front early would come as no surprise.
After disappointing in the mile-long Clásico Miguel Luis Morales (G2)—where she finished 26 lengths behind Elenika (Winning Prize)—Castaña Pass (Distinctiv Passion) looks to rebound. She had previously scored a strong allowance-level triumph, with Starry Bomb back in third, 8 ½ lengths behind.
Sweet Home Alabama (Springdom), Infancia Feliz (Angiolo), and Llamame a la Tarde (Presagio Key) round out the field, though they appear a step below the main contenders.
