This Tuesday, the next three racing programs at San Isidro Racecourse were finalized, offering mostly smaller fields, but with a better number of races compared to previous weeks.
The key events of the period will be next Saturday's Antártida Argentina (L) and Miss Terrible Stakes, both set on the turf. The Antártida Argentina (L), a 1200-meter race for 2-year-olds, and the Miss Terrible (1000 meters, turf), for mares 3 years and older, will headline the card for March 8.
In the first of those stakes, Gata Frank (Gidu) was the only confirmed absentee. The confirmed entries for the Antártida Argentina (L) are: Full Keynote (Full Mast), Gran Porteñito (Dabster), Jazzy Frank (Gidu), and Jeanette (Remote). Meanwhile, the Miss Terrible field remains unchanged, with Forty Vise (Fortify) carrying the top weight of 59kg, and facing: Durmia (Cityscape, 57.5kg), Eleven Mile (Il Campione, 58.5kg), Emm Style (Emmanuel, 52kg), Fantastic Bomb (Hit It a Bomb, 51kg), and La Meninha (Le Blues, 58.5kg).
The week at the Jockey Club will kick off on Friday, with the Handicap Stiletto, a 1600-meter race on the auxiliary dirt track for mares 5 years and older. With two withdrawals from the original field of seven, Che Mamita (Safety Check) will carry the maximum weight of 60kg, competing against: Doble Amarilla (Suggestive Boy, 52.5kg), Guapa Mireya (Endorsement, 55.5kg), Manicura Rusa (Zensational, 55kg), and Noche Plateada (In the Dark, 57kg).
Finally, on Wednesday, March 12, all attention will be on the Handicap Parwiz (1400 meters, dirt) for horses 4 years and older. Of the 15 horses entered, only 9 were confirmed. El Despertar (Il Campione) and My Stormy Dark (In the Dark) will carry the top weight of 60kg. Other confirmed runners include: Dom Mario (Midshipman, 58.5kg), Don Rocky (Equal Stripes, 56.5kg), Don Taimado (Il Campione, 54.5kg), Dr. Can (Señor Candy, 58kg), El Gazpacho(Bodemeister, 57kg), Graf Sree (Winning Prize, 55.5kg), and Hacer Un Puente (Cosmic Trigger, 56.5kg).
