The standout stayer from El Wing will seek his first victory on the turf against The Gladiator's Hat, Out of the Blue, Acento Final, Equal Mostaza, and Time to Think

An unmissable spectacle is promised by the Clásico Comparación (G2-2400 m, turf), the second leg of the Campeonato de Oro Verde and part of the outstanding card set to be contested this Saturday at Hipódromo Palermo.
Several of the premier stayers in training will align at the starting gate, including 3 G1 winners: Need You Tonight (Hat Ninja), The Gladiator's Hat (Hat Ninja), and Acento Final (Treasure Beach), all aiming to return to the winner's circle.
The undisputed number one at the distance on the dirt, Need You Tonight is still chasing his first major victory on the grass. Last season, he fell just short against the aforementioned Acento Final in the Gran Premio General San Martín(G1), and he is coming off a second-place effort behind Magnung Fifth (Daniel Boone) in the Gran Premio 25 de Mayo (G1) at San Isidro, where his closing charge came up slightly late. Consistent to a fault, the dark bay bred by El Wing and conditioned by Roberto Andrés Pellegatta will not have an easy task.
The Gladiator's Hat did not perform as expected in the May feature following his stellar performance at Monterrico, Peru, where he finished third behind the Chilean runner Teao (Ya Primo) in the Gran Premio Latinoamericano (G1). He possesses class in abundance and will be making his debut on Palermo's turf track, though his victory in the Gran Premio Dardo Rocha (G1) at La Plata suggests he should adapt to the conditions without trouble.
The Campeonato de Oro Verde kicked off a month ago with the Clásico Chacabuco (G2), where the Brazilian-bred Out of the Blue (Drosselmeyer) narrowly defeated Acento Final and Equal Mostaza (Equal Stripes)—rivals he will cross paths with once again. All 3 are expected to play major roles in the outcome.
With the recent rainfall, Time to Think (Seahenge) holds high hopes of making an impact, recalling his 10-length demolition of Equal Mostaza over soft turf in last season's Clásico Yatasto (G3).
Nor should one overlook Full Keynote (Full Mast), who finished fourth in the Chacabuco and remains on the hunt for his own moment of glory.
