LA PLATA.- No horse in Argentina has won as many races in 2025 as Elenika, the standout filly who dominates the La Plata sophomore division and is now on the verge of chasing a seventh victory.

Barely days removed from her decisive score in the Polla (G2), the daughter of Winning Prize has been confirmed for the Clásico Diego White (G3, 1700m, dirt), a key prep for the Gran Premio Selección de Potrancas (G1), set for Tuesday, August 26.

She will face seven rivals: Evelia (Daddy Long Legs), La Banda (Fortify), Filly’s Time (Annals of Time), Mis Locuras(Manipulator), Nevada Top (Puerto Escondido), Counting Stars (Strategos), and La Graviere (Seahenge).

That same afternoon, the Clásico Jockey Club de Córdoba (2200m, 4yo+), part of the lead-up to the Gran Premio Dardo Rocha (G1), will also be contested. Among the nominees are Sofware (Treasure Beach), Che Banquero(Greenspring), Buen Escosés (Bodemeister), Joy Artista (Fortify), El Emporio (Il Campione), Sueño Turco (Remote), Look Portal (Portal del Alto), Real Craf (Mastercraftsman), Tambaqui (True Cause), Best Portal (Portal del Alto) and Lomo Plateado (Manipulator).

Two days later, on Thursday, August 28, attention will turn to the colts with the Clásico José Pedro Ramírez (G3, 1700m), serving as the bridge between the Polla (G3) and the Clásico Jockey Club de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (G3), the latter carrying a ARS 5 million bonus for the winner.

Seven were confirmed, including Sono Perfetto (Tetaze), runner-up to Winston (Forge) in the Isidoro Aramburu (G3); classic winner Vampiro Zen (Zensational); and Un Infierno (Dabster), third in the first leg of the local Triple Crown.

Also set to line up are the Buenos Aires-based Hi Dolfi (Hi Happy), First to Run (Daniel Boone), Nassau (Forge) and Big Capo (Capolicho).
