Príncipe Soñado aims for his first stakes victory in over two years in the Clásico Refinado Tom

The La Pampa native is coming off an allowance victory and will clash with six seasoned rivals on the dirt training track

Refinado Tom was the last winner of the Triple Crown, back in 1996. Since then, no colt or filly has been able to match the feat of the chestnut son of Shy Tom, whom Roberto Bullrich and Jorge Valdivieso guided to glory for Stud-Haras La Biznaga.

Carrying 57 1/2 kilos, the dark bay faces several seasoned rivals, including Say It Fast (Cosmic Trigger), who must shoulder the high weight of 58 1/2 kilos while returning from a lengthy 287-day layoff.

The runner campaigned by Wálter Suárez and María Fernanda Alvarez was last seen on November 19, when he captured the Clásico Ciudad de Berisso—a springboard event to the Clásico Ciudad de La Plata (G1)—defeating Encantador Pass (Distinctiv Passion) by a commanding 3 lengths.

Although he is coming off a win in an alternative condition event, Liverpool Blues (Le Blues) demands attention as a rising 4-year-old assigned a light featherweight of 53 1/2 kilos.
