The ultra-consistent mare extended her spectacular dominance with a gate-to-wire victory in the Clásico Ernesto Ayulo Pardo (L), while her high-class stablemate firmly re-established his elite form in the Clásico Pedro García Miró (G3), capping off a dream afternoon in Lima for the powerhouse Stud Jet Set

LIMA, Perú (Special to Turf Diario).- LIMA, Peru— There are race days that write themselves directly into the international history books, and Sunday’s spectacular card at Hipódromo de Monterrico stood as a definitive testament to the enduring prestige and quality of Argentine bloodlines. On an afternoon where high-profile stakes captured the spotlight of the Limeño turf, the iconic silks of Omar Macchi’s Stud Jet Set orchestrated a monumental feature double, validating their formidable operational alliance with the powerhouse Haras Vacación. Under the clinical conditioning of leading trainer Juan Suárez, the black-and-gold stable swept the turf features with two flawless performances.
The opening jewel of the double arrived courtesy of Se Va Colando in the Clásico Ernesto Ayulo Pardo (L), a demanding 2,000-meter test for fillies and mares under weight-for-age conditions. The three-year-old daughter of Treasure Beach out of the productive Dynamix mare Tulipera ran her rivals off their feet, initiating a brilliant gate-to-wire clinic with enviable authority. Masterfully rated by jockey Húber Bocanegra, the progressive filly established easy early fractions of :23.97, :49.43, 1:13.32, and 1:37.85 before turning for home with plenty of reserve fuel. While post-time favorite María Luisa (Singe the Turf) launched a brief bid, the primary threat emerged from her own stablemate and companion in colors, Boudica (The Lieutenant). The latter closed fast down the center of the track but ultimately had to settle for the runner-up spot, finishing a half-length behind the winner to seal a spectacular 1-2 finish for Stud Jet Set. The official clock stopped in an excellent 2:02.13 over a firm turf course, boosting the winner’s career earnings to S/ 151,047 with five victories from just ten lifetime starts.
The celebration of Argentine genetics intensified a few races later in the Clásico Pedro García Miró (G3), contested over 1,800 meters on the same surface, as Puppi's Husband stepped up to re-establish his elite class. The brilliant son of Fortify and Puppi's Love, bred by Pablo Zavaleta’s Haras Vacación, turned the competitive turf feature into a complete monolog down the stretch. Under a highly professional ride from veteran jockey Carlos Trujillo, the progressive colt quickened away from the field at the top of the lane with devastating ease, hitting the wire with a commanding 4 1/2-length advantage over Marc Rosso (Marconi). Longshots Ulpiano (Singe the Turf) and fellow Jet Set colorbearer Il Omare completed the frame. Stopping the clock in a fleet 1:50.51 for the nine furlongs, the Juan Suárez trainee demonstrated precisely why he was a central protagonist during his juvenile classic campaign and why he remains a premier force in the local older turf division.
