Racehorse Celebrates with the 37th Edition of Its Grand Anniversary Sale

To celebrate another anniversary, the firm will offer 39 yearlings from the 2025 crop this Thursday starting at 6 p.m. via an online format

As it does every July, the bloodstock agency Racehorse will celebrate another anniversary with its traditional Grand Anniversary Sale—now in its 37th edition. Scheduled for this Thursday starting at 6:00 p.m. in an online-only format, the event will feature a select group of 39 yearlings from the 2025 crop.

Consignors including Haras La Nora, La Leyenda, Costa del Río, Los Turfistas, Los Prados, Tres Jotas, Las Casuarinas, El Arroyo, and Cortines have sent progeny by Señor Candy (Candy Ride), Gouverneur Morris (Constitution), Remote (Dansili), Luthier Blues (Le Blues), Leofric (Candy Ride), Lucullan (Hard Spun), Storm Embrujado (Bernstein), Hurricane Cat (Storm Cat), Mutasaabeq (Into Mischief), Lenovo (Roman Ruler), Gershwin (Distorted Humor), Che Capanga (Manipulator), Emotion Orpen (Orpen), Village King (Campanologist), Roman Joy (Fortify), Backyard Heaven (Tizway), Ever Daddy (Daddy Long Legs), Dr Post (Quality Road), Imperador (Treasure Beach), Seahenge (Scat Daddy), and Miriñaque (Hurricane Cat).

The auction will feature highly attractive payment structures, allowing buyers to settle their purchases in up to 12 installments with post-dated checks or in six installments without checks. Additionally, a 12 percent discount will be offered for cash payments.

Among the catalog's genetic highlights is Erak (Gouverneur Morris), the second foal out of the multiple stakes winner Capa Que Sí (Lizard Island), consigned by La Nora. The same farm will also offer Barney Google (Mutasaabeq), a colt out of the imported mare Salty Mo (Uncle Mo), whose dam is a half-sister to the two-time Champion Female Sprinter in the United States, Goodnight Olive (Ghostzapper).

Meanwhile, La Leyenda will offer three yearlings from the highly anticipated first crop of champion Ever Daddy, highlighted by Oriana Daddy. This filly is out of Opera Pagliacci (Cima de Triomphe), making her a half-sister to champion Mr. Bailetti (Exchange Rate) and stakes winners Opus Alpha (Cima de Triomphe) and Okuni (Sovereign), from the same immediate female family of the global superstar Romantic Warrior (Acclamation).
