Bumped at the break, she dropped to last and from there rallied down the stretch to win by 11 lengths in the best time among the day's 4 juvenile events; Forty's Rim, Redemption Song, and Unión de Todos each had their share of merit in their respective maiden victories

The multiple 2-year-old races decided this Sunday at Hipódromo de San Isidro left a flurry of important headlines, highlighted by the way the filly Robate Un Beso kicked off her campaign, delivering a colossal performance to win by 11 lengths in the second division of the Premio Sand Puce (1400m, yielding turf).
Bred by Stud RDI but carrying the silks of Bonne Chance Farm (the American satellite of the Brazilian stable), the daughter of Uncle Chuck and Heart and Pray (Ghostzapper) overcame a stumble at the break that left her in dead last, only to begin mounting her charge upon hitting the homestretch.
Swung wide and sitting about 15 lengths off Lady Macallan (Mask), the bay filly launched a devastating run to catch and blow right past her rivals, stopping the clock in 1m28s05/100. Doña Loca (Pneumatic) finished as the runner-up. Martín Montoya was in the irons aboard Robate Un Beso, a filly who will certainly give everyone plenty to talk about.
Meanwhile, in the first division of the Premio Sand Puce, it was all about another debutante, Forty's Rim (Remote and Forty's Birthday by Harlan's Holiday), who pleased onlookers by defeating La Bendita (Sovereign) by 1 1/2 lengths, albeit in a time of 1m29s99/100—nearly 2 seconds slower than her contemporary.
Owned and bred by Stud-Haras Firmamento, the bay filly was guided by Martín Valle and is under the care of trainer Carlos D. Etchechoury.
Early in the card, a special moment arrived for Haras La Providencia (as well as for Haras La Pasión, where he stands at stud) with the first victory in the country for a foal from the first crop of King Guillermo (Uncle Mo). It was all courtesy of Unión de Todos, for whom the third time was the charm over the 1400 meters of the Premio Water Level, where he turned back It's Like You (Cosmic Trigger) by 2 lengths in a time of 1m28s80/100. Pedro Nickel Neto is in charge of the colt, who was guided by Jorge Peralta.
Finally, the other division of the Premio Water Level kicked off a double for Stud RDI—this time sporting their own silks—thanks to the ideal debut of the gray colt Redemption Song, bred in Brazil and a son of G1 winner Outstrip.
Ridden by Adrián Giannetti and trained by Carlos D. Etchechoury, he comfortably drew clear by 5 lengths over Silk Sonic (Uncle Chuck) in 1m28s37/100, virtually the same mark that Robate Un Beso would register later in the afternoon. For the Brazilian connections, it was an afternoon that sparks dreams of big things to come.
