After nearly 8 months, the daughter of Full Mast returned to the winner's circle by taking the Especial Mad Corsaria at La Plata

LA PLATA.— After nearly 8 months, Save Your Tears was able to find victory once again. It happened this Tuesday at this city's racetrack, where she took the Especial Mad Corsaria, the first of two events above the common level that were part of the program and held over 1200 meters on a normal dirt track.

A stakes winner, the daughter of Full Mast strictly followed what her form suggested, as she was coming off a close loss to Lissette Island (Lizard Island), the current top sprinter, in the Clásico Olavarría (G3) on the San Isidro turf.

Carrying one of the top weights of 56 kilos, the Stud Chichín defender was proactive throughout the race, chasing the leader Country Ville (Nashville Texan, 54), quickly dominating her upon entering the home straight, and then holding off the double attack of Winning Wind (Endorsement, 56) and Che Solita (Zensational, 54), the two entries from Marcelo Sueldo. At the wire, the winner's margin was 1 length and 1 1/2 more over her pursuers, completing the distance in the very good time of 1m10s79/100.

Presented by Eduardo Corsiglia and with Emiliano Siniani in the irons, Save Your Tears added the sixth victory of her campaign in just 16 starts, with 4 of them achieved above the common level and 2 in the stakes ranks.
