LEXINGTON, Kentucky (Special for Turf Diario).- As the prestigious Fasig-Tipton November Sale approaches, excitement continues to build, and among the seven newly announced supplements is a filly capturing particular attention from South America: Serra do Mar, dam of the standout Full Serrano (Full Mast), last year’s Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) hero, who is expected to defend his title in a few weeks at Del Mar.

The Jump Start mare is cataloged as Hip 214 and will be offered through Taylor Made Sales Agency on behalf of Haras Gran Muñeca, presenting a bloodline with strong international appeal. Her addition to the sale, scheduled for Monday, November 3, reinforces the global profile of an auction that consistently combines Northern Hemisphere elite with some of the most valuable Southern Hemisphere families.

Full Serrano returned to the winner’s circle in 2025 following a layoff due to injury and later finished second in the Goodwood Cup Stakes (G1) at Santa Anita Park. The previous season, he also placed second in the Pacific Classic (G1).

Beyond her role as the dam of an international champion, Serra do Mar boasts a robust pedigree: she is a full sister to Seresta, the Champion 2-Year-Old Filly of her generation, who later became a multiple classic producer in Japan, including Harper (Hert’s Cry-G3) and Valle de la Luna (Duramente-L), solidifying a female line that has flourished on both sides of the Pacific.

Her inclusion in the catalog reflects a growing trend in U.S. sales: recognition of South American genetic value, particularly from lines demonstrating sustained high-level performance. As Taylor Made notes, Serra do Mar represents “a combination of performance, physique, and family that is highly attractive for any breeding program with international ambitions.”

Other notable supplements include Overly Indulgent (Pleasantly Perfect), dam of Intrepido (Maximus Mischief), recent winner of the American Pharoah Stakes (G1) and a prospective Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) contender, offered in foal to the same sire.

The November catalog also features Argentine-breds Ballado’s Beach (Treasure Beach) and Edict (Il Campione), along with the Brazilian Champagne Rose (Agnes Gold).

With these additions, Fasig-Tipton enhances the November sale with extra allure, in an auction that annually sets the tone for the global market. In this arena of stars and future champions, Serra do Mar’s presence not only celebrates Argentine success on the track but also in the sales ring, where Southern Hemisphere quality and genetics continue to make their mark among Northern Hemisphere giants.
