The son of Hi Happy impressed over the Bosque mile, taking the Clásico About Today and regaining the prominence that once made him a standout in the division

LA PLATA.- If any further proof was needed, Storm Sound (Hi Happy) once again confirmed just how good a horse he is with a sharp score in Tuesday’s Clásico About Today (1600m, dirt), the co-feature on the card at La Plata.
Coming off a subpar showing on a muddy track when trying to defend his crown in the G2 Clásico 25 de Mayo de 1810, the bay thrived back on a firm surface, reaffirming his affinity for the southern mile and his status as a leading force in the division.
The race unfolded just as expected, with Storm Sound and Paraná Miní (Winning Prize) taking command early while carefully avoiding a suicidal pace. The pair set moderate splits of :24.94 and :48.33, pulling a couple of lengths clear of the field.
As they approached the far turn, Indy Pro (Indy Point) joined the fray and proved a factor. Nearing the stretch, Paraná Miní dove to the rail and tried to kick clear, while Storm Sound bumped with Indy Pro, momentarily losing stride before recovering quickly.
Once balanced, Storm Sound launched his rally and surged past by midstretch, holding off the late charge of Señor Dan(Señor Candy) to prevail by two lengths. Indy Pro ran on gamely to finish third, a half-length ahead of a fading Paraná Miní, with the final time a respectable 1:39.10 after a 1:13.11 six-furlong split.
Trained by Omar Labanca at Palermo for Stud El Cárcara, and expertly handled once more by Lautaro Balmaceda, Storm Sound notched his eighth win from 25 starts—four of them in stakes company.
Bred by Haras Carampangue, the dark bay continues to show his class every time he steps onto the track.
