The daughter of Manipulator went gate-to-wire in the Especial Talavera

LA PLATA.- Tac-Tac once again stole the spotlight over this city’s dirt track.

Following a strong effort in Palermo’s Handicap British Empire, the daughter of Manipulator emerged as the standout performer in the Especial Talavera (1400m, dirt), the first of the two races above allowance level that added some quality to Sunday’s program.

Carrying a manageable 54 kilos and with Franco Menéndez aboard, the bay mare representing Stud Doctor S took full advantage of the fact that none of her rivals showed interest in contesting the lead.

She quickly seized command, established a solid tempo through fractions of :24.83, :47.92, and 1:12.41, and still had enough left in reserve to withstand the late charge.

Tac-Tac maintained a half-length advantage at the wire over the heavily favored Palermo shipper Frape (Vástago Salvaje, 54), while Queen’s Reward (Grand Reward, 52)—who had tracked the winner from the break—completed the trifecta another length behind.

The final time was 1:25.29.

Bred by Haras Casabianca and presented by Jonathan Fredes—though officially trained by Angel Piana—Tac-Tac secured the fifth victory of her career from 31 starts, with three of those wins achieved above the allowance ranks.

Her résumé already included the Clásico Raúl Lottero (L) and the Handicap Haras El Paraíso, and now the Especial Talavera joins that distinguished collection.

Tac-Tac did it again, proving once more that whenever the opportunity presents itself, she somehow always finds a way to deliver the upset.
