The Stud Pauli horse is a candidate for the Especial Haras Firmamento in La Plata

LA PLATA.— Beating a horse owned by Stud Pauli, trained by Marcelo Sueldo, and ridden by Gonzalo Borda at this city’s racetrack is always a complicated mission. The team boasts around a 40 percent efficiency rate over the last year—truly marvelous numbers.
Well, this Thursday they will attempt to strike again, this time with Talento Emergente in the Especial Haras Firmamento, the most important race of the day. The event is open to horses 4 years old and up with 3 or more wins, and he will carry just 54 kilos.
The son of Hurricane Cat arrives at this commitment in high spirits after a comfortable conditional win locally. Now, he faces a new test at the top level, the same level where he finished second in the Handicap Domingo E. Pascual and third in another outing at Palermo.
Talento Emergente crosses paths with Decan Dall (Victor Security, 56), who also brings a more than interesting current form, having recently beaten G1 winner Vespaciano (Daniel Boone) by 2 lengths in the Especial Tan Cerezo.
Appearing as the "third man out" is Notable Island (Lizard Island, 54), who continues his quest to regain the form he showed as a two-year-old when, for example, he won the G3 Clásico Jockey Club de la Provincia de Buenos Aires and the L Clásico Jockey Club de Azul. He is coming off a fifth-place finish in the Handicap Advocate at Palermo but is expected to improve.
Finally, both Buen Curuzucuateño (Buen Verso, 54) and Arcanum (Horse Greeley, 54) have seen much more glorious days in the past...
