The new development on the grounds that formerly belonged to La Pasión will host the second auction of the year for Blacktype Bloodstock

A double dose of expectation marks this afternoon in the horse racing business world. Starting at 1:00 p.m., Blacktype Bloodstock will hold its Gran Venta Solís, debuting a new brand within the industry: Tattersalls Solís, located at the facilities that for many years belonged to Haras La Pasión.
The firm will auction 63 yearlings from the 2024 crop in a setting that promises to be refreshing, featuring important figures from racing as well as those linked to other sports like soccer and polo, along with the business sector. The Tattersalls Solís project, which involves several partners and is represented by Zenón Martínez Althabe, aims to take the story a step further by utilizing a class-A, fully renovated backdrop. The goal is to transform the space into a benchmark for Thoroughbred sales in Argentina and position it for various events in other fields.
Regarding the auction itself, Mariano Semowoniuk's firm will feature consignments from the following studs:
San Benito
Carampangue
Avourneen
Chenaut
Cortines
Doble S.S.
Doña Pancha
San Agustín
El Arroyo
Embrujo
La Esperanza
NycSI

Passing through the ring will be offspring of established stallions such as Il Campione (Scat Daddy), Cosmic Trigger(Lizard Island), Daddy Long Legs (Scat Daddy), Fortify (Distorted Humor), Gouverneur Morris (Constitution), Dabster (Curlin), Cityscape (Selkirk), Remote (Dansili), Forge (Dubawi), Strategos (Zensational), Treasure Beach (Galileo), Le Blues (Roman Ruler), Señor Candy (Candy Ride), and Safety Check (Dubawi). The catalog also includes members of the first crops by Satono Flag (Deep Impact), Ivar (Agnes Gold), Dr. Post (Quality Road), and Luthier Blues (Le Blues).
Notable lots include siblings to G1 winners Doña Joya (Jump Start) and Ardiendo (Remote), as well as graded stakes winners Evincing (Equal Stripes), Don Latido (John F Kennedy), Don Kazako (Long Island Sound), Soy La Líder (Manipulator), Doña Jalea (Orpen), Doña Lagertha (Seahenge), and Llegó Bien (Señor Candy).
