The Argentine-bred Sexy Star continues to add stakes victories to her tally at Monterrico

A full sister to the champion Paulinho and the G1 winner Positive Dream, the Stud Jet Set defender prevailed clearly in the Clásico Dardanus, contested over 1000 meters on the turf



LIMA, Peru (Special for Turf Diario).– The Argentine-bred Sexy Star, a daughter of Equal Stripes and Paula Sexy (Ride The Rails), born at Haras Abolengo and carrying the colors of Stud Jet Set, fully lived up to her favoritism by taking the Clásico Dardanus last Saturday over 1000 meters on the turf at Monterrico.

Under a confident ride by Húber Bocanegra, the Juan Suárez Villarroel trainee reaffirmed her remarkable speed, dominating the pace and resolving the contest with authority to reach her 10th career victory in 38 starts, bringing her total earnings to 111,011 soles.

After setting quick fractions of 22s17/100 and 43s34/100, Sexy Star held firm in the homestretch to complete the kilometer in 56s18/100, confirming her status as one of the most consistent sprinters currently competing on the Lima circuit.

Tokyo (Meal Penalty) finished second, 2 lengths back, while Fric Frac (Buenos Días) completed the frame, 3 lengthsbehind the winner. Finishing much further back, 8 1/4 lengths later, Tiche (Bay Of Plenty) closed out the field.
