CÓRDOBA, Córdoba—The consistent stallion Daniel Boone has a new home and, beginning in 2026, will stand at Haras La Fortaleza, the thriving operation of Marcela Andrenacci in this province. Born in Brazil, he arrives after demonstrating his remarkable utility at Santa María de Araras, where he produced several notable runners.

A 13-year-old son of Wild Event born in Brazil, the bay completed an excellent campaign in that country carrying the colors of the Bozano family. He was the winner of the Grande Premio Francisco Eduardo de Paula Machado (G1) and the Clásico Ernani de Freitas (L), while also finishing second in the Longines Gran Premio Latinoamericano(G1) and the Grande Premio Julio Capúa (G3), and third in the Grande Premio Estado do Río de Janeiro (G1).

Genetically, Wild Event brings the female family of the phenomenal Goldikova (Anabaa), to which such standout performers as Anodin (Anabaa), Galikova (Galileo), and Goldikovic (Galileo) also belong; the latter, a son of the unforgettable Wertheimer Et Frere champion, is currently a highly successful sire in Brazil.

Daniel Boone, who will share stallion duties with another effective name in Endorsement (Distorted Humor), began his stud career in 2017 and currently has seven crops of racing age.

His statistics in the country are truly striking; from 188 starters, 115 have been winners (61.2%) and nine are stakes winners, a group highlighted by the names of Tropeadora and Vespaciano.

The former prevailed in the Gran Premio de Potrancas (G1), while the latter took the Gran Premio 2000 Guineas(G1) and continues to make headlines at the track, such as this Wednesday when he finished second in the Clásico Onesto Puente (L).

Other notable offspring of Daniel Boone include stakes winners Coriane, Hony Boone, Queen of the Stone, Magnificent, Fortín Chaco, Mare Internum, and Pretoriana, who won the Clásico Miss Terrible this past Tuesday at San Isidro.

In Brazil, meanwhile, Daniel Boone was represented by Silenciadora, winner of the Grande Premio Diana (G1), and Austera Soy, who placed second in the Grande Premio Onze de Julho (G2) and third in the Grande Premio Duque de Caxias (G2).

Daniel Boone arrives at La Fortaleza at another important juncture for Córdoba, where the racing industry continues to bet big.
