The Gran Premio 25 de Mayo (G1) card will also provide a major stage for the juveniles through the Gran Criterium (G1) and Gran Premio de Potrancas (G1), for colts and fillies respectively, marking the first top-level turf tests of the season for the youngest generation.

Each race will offer total prize money of 70,000,000 pesos, including 35,000,000 pesos to the winner, and both attracted notably strong numbers compared to recent key races in the juvenile program: 16 probable runners for the colts and 17 for the fillies.

In the Gran Criterium (G1), the spotlight falls on the return to turf of Cardo Castilla (Strategos), winner of the Clásico Raúl y Raúl E. Chevalier (G2), who most recently finished fourth in the Gran Premio Montevideo (G1) behind Paulo Sil (Treasure Beach)—who was second—and just ahead of Desert Voice (Dabster), rivals he could meet again here.

The remainder of the group includes Don Pacto (Pneumatic), Excitement (Il Campione), Happy Angel (Hi Happy), Hi Pocho (Hi Happy), Kyprios (Hi Happy), Los Llanos (Le Blues), Lunático Bomb (Hit It a Bomb), Mask May (Mask), Pancho Gío (Caravaggio), Roi du Monte (Treasure Beach), Siete Lagos (Full Mast), Stay Tune (Fortify), and Teobaldo (Uncle Chuck).

As for the Gran Premio de Potrancas (G1), it could bring together the dominant fillies from both surfaces. Undefeated Gota Clara Sos (Made You Look), heroine of the Clásico Eliseo Ramírez (G2), appears on the list alongside Gran Gotera (Made You Look), fresh from her victory in Palermo’s Gran Premio Jorge de Atucha (G1).

Also nominated are Achispada (Have At It), Deep Feeling (Seahenge), Fly Cast (Made You Look), Full Question (Full Mast), Gunakali (King Guillermo), Hi Intense (Hi Happy), Inter Bombaza (Hit It a Bomb), Just Dance (Daniel Boone), Live Your Life (Dabster)—third in the Atucha—Mani Girl (Daddy Long Legs), Moon Sold (Made You Look), Salema (Il Mercato), Sally Ride (Señor Candy), Tarea Fácil (Fortify), and Unica Forma (Full Mast).

Each race will also include a 1,000,000-peso Bono Estrellas Plus bonus for the highest-finishing runner among the first three positions that is registered for the Carreras de las Estrellas program. The cost for owners to start their horses will be 1,260,000 pesos.
