As the months roll by, the standings published by the Stud Book Argentino are heating up. With several high-stakes races still to come, the end of August has left a clear picture across various divisions.

Among breeders, Haras El Paraíso continues to solidify its commanding position, while Stud Pauli sets the pace with a comfortable cushion in the owners' standings. However, the scenario shifts dramatically in the sire and broodmare sire categories, promising plenty of excitement down the stretch.

Leading the general sire standings, Il Campione (Scat Daddy) holds a slender margin over Fortify (Distorted Humor), though the gap has been steadily narrowing. The battle among broodmare sires is even tighter, with Orpen(Lure) and Easing Along (Storm Cat) locked in a thrilling duel.

El Paraíso tops the breeder standings with $1,905,919,355 in total earnings, followed by Firmamento with $1,352,055,519. Haras La Pasión holds third position, with Vacación and Abolengo completing the top five at a further distance.

In the stallion ranks, just over 100,000,000 pesos separate Il Campione ($1,045,779,769) from Fortify ($909,458,954). Following the top pair is Treasure Beach (Galileo), enjoying an outstanding season, while Strategos (Zensational) holds fourth with only two crops on the track. Le Blues (Roman Ruler) stands as the other Argentine-bred stallion in the Top 5.

Orpen ($1,184,751,485) maintains a strong lead among broodmare sires, but Easing Along ($1,077,093,949) remains hot on his heels. Close behind are Sebi Halo (Southern Halo), Equal Stripes (Candy Stripes), and Pure Prize(Storm Cat) in what is shaping up to be the most competitive ranking of all.

With 37 wins in 2026—a remarkable 33.3 percent strike rate—and nearly 400,000,000 pesos in earnings, Stud Pauliholds a firm lead over Firmamento, Las Monjitas, Rubio B., and Santa Inés in the owners' category.

Finally, in the individual horses' division, Need You Tonight (Hat Ninja) retains top honors with $133,400,000 in purse money. The exported Indiana Candy (Señor Candy) ranks second, with Neat Colt (Treasure Beach) as the only other runner hitting nine figures. Behind them follow Colorado del Monte (Strategos) and the sprinter Le Cornette (Emmanuel).
