The speed division always occupies a large part of the schedule for the Carreras de las Estrellas. The Sprint (G1) will pit established stars against each other in the older category, while the Clásico Estrellas Junior Sprint (G3-1000 m, turf), one of the original events of the series organized by the Fundación Equina Argentina, will be a highlight of the card scheduled for Friday, June 26, at the Hipódromo de San Isidro, giving the youngsters a chance to climb the ranks.
With total purses amounting to 40,000,000 pesos, of which 25,000,000 will go to the winner, the final list of confirmed runners stands at 12, consisting of 8 colts and 4 fillies.
Addicted to Love (Angiolo), Admiral Joy (Fortify), Airplane Mode (Angiolo), Aspiring Artist (Angiolo), El Rayo Pass (Distinctiv Passion) (pictured), Glafira (Gouveneur Morris), Grand Doha (Il Mercato), Listen (Le Blues), Nissos (Il Mercato), November Rain (Strategos), Pasatiempo (A Different Style), and Senzatta (Zensational) will be the ones stepping up when the gates open.
