Il Campione, El Paraíso, Orpen, and Stud Pauli appear at the top of the different rankings at the end of April

At the end of the first four-month period, the Stud Book Argentino statistics show solid leaders in each category. While it is early to draw conclusions, Haras El Paraíso, the stallion Il Campione (Scat Daddy), Orpen (Lure) among broodmare sires, and the Pauli stable appear at the front of the different rankings with a good advantage over their pursuers.
Although the analyzed numbers do not include what occurred on May 1 at Palermo, they allow for an observation of how the most significant stages of the calendar are being delineated, where the events with the largest purses appear.
Supported by the 6 stakes successes of his offspring, Il Campione exceeded 465 million pesos in earnings and holds a good lead over Fortify (Distorted Humor), who is nearing 377 million. In a great performance, Daddy Long Legs (Scat Daddy) appears in third position, ahead of Le Blues (Roman Ruler)—the top national sire on the list—and Treasure Beach (Galileo).
Regarding breeders, strong management in the highest-paying events also makes the difference for El Paraíso, with total earnings of 931,570,524 pesos, widening its lead over La Pasión and Firmamento, which follow in that order with earnings of 592,999,485 and 572,041,299 pesos. Vacación is not far behind in fourth, and Abolengo completes the initial top five.
The lead held by Orpen (Lure) is also solid as he seeks another title among broodmare sires. He has already pulled 100 million pesos ahead of Easing Along (Storm Cat), his runner-up, with Sebi Halo (Southern Halo), Pure Prize (Storm Cat), and Equal Stripes (Candy Stripes) behind them.
Stud Pauli's achievement is remarkable; with 25 victories and an efficiency of 45.5 percent, it is approaching 200 million pesos in earnings, leaving Rubio B. in second place. Firmamento, San Benito, and Santa Inés follow them, though quite a bit further back.
Finally, in the horse rankings, Thor Medina (Mootasadir) managed to maintain first place, followed by Butterfing(Angiolo), Gota Clara Sos (Made You Look), El Emporio (Il Campione), and Comando Secreto (War Command).
The different Stud Book Argentino rankings as of April 30 are provided below.
