A major highlight within the formidable menu of the Carreras de las Estrellas will undoubtedly be the Gran Premio Estrellas Mile (G1-1600 m, turf), to be run on Saturday the 27th at the Hipódromo de San Isidro, promising an unforgettable spectacle. Although there were 4 defections from the original list of entries, the 11 runners that confirmed their presence pave the way for a historic race capable of thrilling every racing fan, featuring a level of quality that is hard to find these days.

The confirmation of Colifato Novo (Lenovo) and Drive Joy (Fortify), the country's last two 2-year-old champions, alongside Earth God (Cosmic Trigger), the reigning Champion Miler, is a clear testament to the caliber of the field.

There is no doubt that the winner of the Mile will rightfully claim the title of current number one in the division. In addition to the aforementioned stars, two other G1 winners will face the starter: Bronx (Qué Vida Buena) and Folie Ninja (Hat Ninja), who dead-heated for first place in this very race two years ago.

Further elevating the race's quality, Qué Tarde Gris (Il Campione) and Nevado Catedral (Gouverneur Morris) bring strong credentials of their own. The former captured the Clásico América (G2) this season before finishing third behind Drive Joy in the Gran Premio de las Américas - OSAF (G1), while the latter conquered the Clásico Benito Villanueva(G2) prior to a surprising unplaced effort in the May 1st G1.

Kopke (Hi Happy), who went briefy off the radar after failing in the Gran Premio Joaquín S. de Anchorena (G1), returns with high expectations; he is the winner of the 2025 Clásico Ecuador (G2) and was the runner-up in the Gran Premio San Isidro (G1).

Adorado Rim (Remote), Grand Canyon (Long Island Sound), and Majority Wins (Master of Hounds) complete the field.

The Gran Premio Estrellas Mile will feature a total purse of 56,000,000 pesos, distributed as follows: $35,000,000 to the winner; $10,500,000 to the second; $5,600,000 to the third; $2,800,000 to the fourth; and $2,100,000 to the fifth.
