The 3 highest prices were claimed by offspring of the Stud RDI champion; the total gross reached 464,000 dollars

The offspring of champion Ivar (Agnes Gold) continue to be a frequent highlight across the various yearling sales taking place in Argentina. At the conclusion of the Haras Gran Muñeca Annual Sale, the foals by the crack stood out once again, sweeping the 3 highest prices of the auction.
Held at the farm's facilities in San Antonio de Areco and organized by the company MZ Horse Sales, the bidding action saw a strong response and consistent numbers throughout.
The sale-topper was Sam Cane, a colt by Ivar out of the G3-placed mare Stormy Mecha (Bernstein), for whom Marcelo Sueldo, acting on commission, ended up paying US$ 40,000, structured in 10 installments in accordance with the conditions offered.
The colt is a half-brother to 6 winners, including the stakes-placed Forty Mecha (Fortify) and the highly productive runners Merlot Rye (Catcher In the Rye), Mechanical Inc (Include), and Full Stormy (Full Mast).
The second highest price went to Moro Intenso, born on August 3, for whom José Luis Regueiro, acting on commission, dropped the hammer at US$ 34,000. He is the first foal out of the mare Más Mora (Full Mast), who was a runner-up in the Handicap Rafale and is a half-sister to stakes winner Señor Vecino (Señor Candy).
Rounding out the top three prices was Lujo Total, who commanded 26,000 dollars, with Santiago Aymale securing the colt on commission. The brown yearling is a half-brother to multiple G3-placed runner Full Lujoso (Full Mast) and the useful winner Full Lujo (Full Mast).
In total, the 26 yearlings sold—with only one withdrawn due to a last-minute issue—generated a gross revenue of 464,000 dollars, yielding an average of US$ 17,846 and a median of US$ 16,188.
