The Especial Juan G. Ublich (1400m) and Especial Antonio F. Manzone (1000m) headline Monday’s program

Horses campaigning on the provincial circuit will once again take center stage this Monday at Hipódromo de Palermothrough the Especial Juan G. Ublich (1400m, dirt) and the Especial Antonio F. Manzone (1000m, dirt), both restricted to horses aged three and up.

In the race honoring the jockey, the three entrants with prior experience at the top level all performed well in their previous local appearances.

Pacífico del Sur (Isotérico) had crossed the wire first in the Especial Froilán Maldonado, only to be disqualified for interference against the runner-up.

Pacto de Silencio (Silentio) finished second in two of his three starts at Palermo and now returns seeking a breakthrough victory, while Gouverneur Emerit (Gouverneur Morris) checked in fourth on the afternoon Pacífico del Sur was demoted.

Among those making their first appearance at Palermo, particular attention must be paid to Perdiendo El Tiempo (Santillano), already a winner at Villa María and also stakes-placed at Río Cuarto, both within the Córdoba circuit.

In the Antonio F. Manzone, meanwhile, La Cattiva (Puerto Real) will attempt to capitalize on her solid third-place finish in the Especial Oscar D. Rébora against a field featuring mostly newcomers to this level, though her task may not prove entirely straightforward.

In that same race, Sirak (Candy Strong) finished fifth, only 1 1/2 lengths behind her.

Among the fresh faces, Sur y Después (Springdom) arrives with solid credentials after already scoring at Venado Tuerto, while Horseman (Endorsement) brings an encouraging runner-up effort from Las Flores that could translate well to the major circuit.
