Friday’s card at Hipódromo de San Isidro will feature the best races of the upcoming week. Headlined by the Clásico Macon (L-1800m, turf), the program will also include both divisions of the Clásico José B. Zubiaurre (1500m, turf)and the Clásico Juan S. Boucau (1500m, turf), for debuting colts and fillies, respectively.

Run under handicap conditions for 3-year-olds and up, the Macon drew just five confirmed runners, highlighted by the return of Vundu (Suggestive Boy), who has been sidelined since finishing unplaced in the Gran Premio Latinoamericano (G1) at Gávea, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, last October, and who was assigned top weight of 60 1/2 kilos.

The Stud Gran Ascochinga representative will concede just one kilo to fellow stakes performer Sabiyano (Fortify), in a field completed by Chanclette (Super Saver, 55), Don Machete (Daddy Long Legs, 53 1/2), and Touch the Stars (Fortify, 56 1/2).

The Zubiaurre was split into two divisions after attracting 20 confirmations. The first division will feature Diguillin (Treasure Beach), Mister Félix (Treasure Beach), Entrometido (Equal Stripes), Recife (Caravaggio), Río Claro (Imperador), Tatto Black (Daniel Boone), Lembo Dancer (Long Island Sound), Secreto Romano (Uncle Chuck), Don Pacto (Pneumatic), and Happy Angel (Hi Happy).

The second division will include Cool Francis (Cool Day), Harvey Specter (Global Hunter), El Rojo Punzó (Il Campione), Marc Weather (Marconi), Marcelo Moi (El Moisés), Stay Tune (Fortify), Fuerte y Claro (Daniel Boone), Rise My Love (Treasure Beach), El Achispado (Grand Reward), and Excitement (Il Campione).

As for the fillies in the Clásico Juan S. Boucau, the nine confirmed runners are Deep Heart (Dabster), Rebel Yell (Imperador), Gunakali (King Guillermo), Syndra (Fortify), The Great Dansili (The Great Day), Zamba Perdida (Backyard Heaven), Moon Sold (Made You Look), The Great Love (The Great Day), and Eudoxia (Uncle Chuck).

Originally scheduled for Wednesday the 29th, Hipódromo de San Isidro had listed the Especial Zanoni (1200m, dirt)for 3-year-olds and up winners as its feature, but it was removed from the program after receiving only three confirmations. As a result, the card will consist of 12 allowance races.
