Alongside Haras La Pasión, the nursery will offer a very appealing group of 2024 yearlings beginning at 5 p.m. at the Tattersall de San Isidro

The Tattersall at Hipódromo de San Isidro will host the Gran Venta Anual of Haras La Providencia this afternoon, with Haras La Pasión participating as guest consignor and offering a group of 44 yearlings, several of them to be sold under the “pick-the-winner” pairing format.
The sale is scheduled for 5 p.m. —with inspections beginning at 4— under the organization of Blacktype Bloodstock, and will feature offspring by established stallions such as Fortify (Distorted Humor), Cosmic Trigger (Lizard Island), Hi Happy (Pure Prize), Gouverneur Morris (Constitution), Seize (War Front), Cityscape (Selkirk), Il Mercato (Not for Sale), Daniel Boone (Wild Event), and Full Mast (Mizzen Mast).
Also represented are members of the second crops by Uncle Chuck (Uncle Mo), King Guillermo (Uncle Mo), and Village King (Campanologist), along with first-crop sires Hiper Happy (Cityscape), Dr. Post (Quality Road), and Mutasaabeq (Into Mischief).
Several offerings have generated strong attention, among them Kobuk (Hi Happy), a full brother to G2 winner Kopkeand a maternal half-brother to fellow G2 scorer Kodiak Boy (Treasure Beach), from the family of champion Kononkop (Pure Prize).
Another standout from the catalog is Indumati (King Guillermo), a sister to champion Off the Road (Quick Road)and G1 winner On the Road (Quick Road). She will be sold in tandem with Siempre Azul (King Guillermo), a granddaughter of G2 winner Sirga (Southern Halo). The buyer will have the option to choose one of the two fillies, while the remaining one will stay with La Providencia as a reserve.
Among the horses consigned by Haras La Pasión is Illegally On Line (Dr. Post), a daughter of multiple graded winner Illegally Blonde (Southern Halo) and carrying the family that produced Il Mercato (Not for Sale), Infartame (Equal Stripes), and numerous other top-class performers.
Grady (King Guillermo) is a maternal half-brother to G1 heroine Greta G (Exchange Rate) and stakes winner Gringa Unica (Orpen), herself the dam of G1 winner Grezzo (Hi Happy).
Hiper Urca (Hiper Happy) shares her dam with G2 winner Great Spirit (Drosselmeyer), G3 winner Atomic Heights (Know Heights), and G1-placed Sammy (First American).
Meanwhile, Embrasement Heavy (Gouverneur Morris) is a maternal half-brother to stakes winner Eulario (Bodemeister).
A true factory of champions, Haras La Providencia once again presents the result of years of meticulous breeding work through its flagship annual sale.
