The talented son of El Moisés lunged late to nail Bluclette Rim right on the wire, securing a dramatic victory in the Clásico Juan Carlos Etchechoury

The outstanding current form and tactical versatility of Tiffony Mo were on full display as he captured the Clásico Juan Carlos Etchechoury, the 1,300-meter main track event that capped off the stakes action on Friday’s championship program at Hipódromo de San Isidro.

The progressive son of Champion and Derby winner El Moisés recorded his fourth consecutive victory and his second stakes triumph in a row. Displaying a new dimension by rating off the pace, the colt had to overcome a tight, testing spot when he found himself momentarily pocketed along the inside rail behind the pacesetting Bluclette Rim (Remote) at the top of the stretch.

It was Bluclette Rim who had dictated the early tempo, pressing the pace alongside Huracán Risk (Security Risk). As the field reached the grandstand side, the Entre Ríos raider dug in along the lead, slamming the door shut on jockey Rodrigo Bascuñán as he attempted to sneak Tiffony Mo through a narrow opening on the fence.

Displaying immense poise, Bascuñán quickly altered course when he realized the inside route was completely blocked.Angling his mount to the outside of the leader, Bascuñán launched a powerful final surge over the last 200 meters, getting up in the shadow of the wire to nail Bluclette Rim by a desperate half-head.

Stopping the clock in 1:16.44 for the distance, the Stud Rocío Soledad representative, who is conditioned by Hernán Voeffray, secured his fifth victory from 15 lifetime starts and pushed his career bankroll past 44 million pesos, firmly establishing himself among the elite extended sprinters in Argentina.
