The Hipódromo de San Isidro is back in action this Wednesday, offering a card with a notably lower technical level compared to the spectacular Saturdays it has been known for. However, the Clásico Vale Dori, a handicap for fillies and mares aged 3 and up, stands out on the program. The race will be run over 1200 meters on the auxiliary dirt track, in tribute to the remarkable mare Vale Dori, who claimed G1 victories both in Argentina and the United States, under the ownership of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum.

With nine confirmed runners, the race offers Truly Princess a chance to return to the top after a stellar run of three consecutive victories at La Plata. These wins, in the Clásico HeldaClásico Santiago Luro, and Clásico Arturo A. Bullrich (G3), have propelled the daughter of Daddy Long Legs to the maximum weight of 59.5 kg. She won those races in dominant fashion, leading from start to finish in each.

In this race, Truly Princess will face several rivals she has already beaten, as well as new challenges. One of them is the rising Lakka (Manipulator, 55.5 kg), who has won three out of her four starts. The filly made a name for herself in the Encuentro Provincial de Palermo special, and followed up with another valuable conditional win. She now moves to a new track and steps up to 1200 meters, racing around a bend for the first time—a test she will need to overcome with class.

Churrullera (Fortify, 58 kg), the leader of the northern division, will also be in the mix. She has won the Clásicos Tristeza Cat and Vit Reina, and finished second by four lengths to Save Your Tears (Full Mast) in the Clásico Francia(L).

Gran Celestial (Il Mercato, 55.5 kg) will travel from La Plata after her strong third-place finish in the Clásico Lord At War (L) just two weeks ago, where she crossed the line five lengths behind Hit Rouge (Hit It a Bomb), ahead of a competitive field.

Friendly Miss (Daniel Boone, 55.5 kg) will attempt to continue her winning streak, while Victoria Bayern (Bodemeister, 55 kg) is also capable of making a strong showing.
