The daughter of South Kissing will carry the top weight of 60.5 kilos against a rival that always gives her all

Carrying 60.5 kilos this time, the daughter of South Kissing comes off a win in the Handicap Platería, under identical conditions, where she regained her best form by defeating Aiyanna (Santillano, 60) by 2 1/2 lengths.
On that occasion, Viva Al Sur carried 58.5 kg against Aiyanna’s 60.5 kg, but this time the scale tips half a kilo in favor of Aiyanna, which could slightly balance their chances.
The latter needs no introduction, having been a consistent contender in this type of event for months. Now seven years old, she will have Francisco Leandro up, looking for her eighth career win.
Also on a roll is Blessed Shine (Honour Devil, 55), who arrives with back-to-back conditional victories at tough levels, suggesting her youth could prove decisive as she steps into stakes company.
Another in superb current form is Ataka (Señor Candy, 57.5), who stretches out to 1400 meters after capturing the Handicap Haras Chapadmalal over 1200 meters by 2 1/2 lengths from Free Prize (Winning Prize), leaving behind several of today’s rivals, including Holy Valley (Homage, 54.5), Brugee (Grand Reward, 60), and Victoria Bayern(Santillano, 55), among others.
Vengan y Vean (Manipulator, 53.5) runs light and is in top form, while Potri Pop (Bodemeister, 51.5) and Mi Negra Paula (Reflecting, 56) harbor big dreams, the former running without weight. Furiosa Vis (Furious Key, 53.5) and La Bombonera (Portal del Alto, 54) complete the lineup.
