The filly was scratched at the gate due to a physical issue, and the Gran Muñeca mare stole the show at San Isidro

It is often said that in horse racing everything can change in a single second—and the Gran Premio Copa de Plata (G1-2000m, turf), one of Saturday’s marquee events at San Isidro, provided a textbook example.
Highly touted filly Charm (Strategos), seeking definitive coronation in her first clash with older mares, was scratched at the gate due to a physical issue, abruptly stripping the “Pellegrini of the fillies and mares” of its central attraction.
With the landscape suddenly wide open, Knows All seized the moment. Overlooked on paper, she capped a sensational late-season run—following victories in the La Mission (G2) and Los Haras (G2)—by dominating the Copa de Plata in emphatic fashion.
Fresh off the team’s earlier Grade 1 success with Moon Frank (Gidu) in the Polla de Potrancas, the partnership of trainer Diego Peña, jockey Brian Enrique, and Stud-Haras Gran Muñeca struck again as the daughter of Le Blues produced a relentless stretch kick. Settled mid-pack for most of the journey as Obra Clásica (Suggestive Boy) dictated a controlled tempo, Knows All unleashed with authority turning for home.
By the 250-meter mark she had assumed command and quickly drew clear, stopping the clock in 1:58.45 while opening a four-length margin over Romana Craf (Mastercraftsman), who filled the same position as she had a year earlier. Neowise (Brz-Agnes Gold) checked in a commendable third, a further 1 1/2 lengths back.
Now five, Knows All had long knocked on the door at graded level—including against males—before this decisive streak elevated her to the top tier among staying mares. She emerges as the lone runner capable of disputing Horse of the Yearhonors with Charm. It was unfortunate they did not meet; the spectacle promised would have been memorable.
Knows All closed out 2025 in superb fashion, reaching her peak at precisely the right moment. In the Copa de Plata, preparation, patience, and progression aligned to perfection.
