Derli Gómez and Agustín Gambier, new classic challenges for the 2-year-olds in El Bosque

LA PLATA.- While preparing to enjoy a new meeting this Sunday, this city's racetrack has already set course for its activity next week.

The Bosque will have racing on Tuesday, March 3rd, and Thursday, March 5th, beginning to wind down the first quarter of 2026, and the foundation will be the continuity of the selective process for the 2023 generation.

On the first of those dates, the fillies will face off in the Clásico Derli A. Gómez (G3), a memory of the unforgettable trainer. Meanwhile, on the later day, it will be the turn for the colts and the Clásico Agustín B. Gambier (G3). Both turns will be contested over 1200 meters.

As an extra attraction, also on Thursday the 5th, the Clásico Arturo A. Bullrich (G3-1200 m) will be held for mares aged 3 and up, a transcendental sprint stage for the ladies among the eucalyptus trees.

There are 13 entered for the Derli Gómez, including the undefeated Gota Clara Sos, who is coming off a victory in the Clásico Amilcar A. Mercader (L). The daughter of Made You Look could cross paths with: Achispada (Have At It), Beni Lara (El Benicio), Crazy Train (Remote), Grosella (Seahenge), La Libertaria (Seahenge), Marquise Zenda (Il Mercato), Mayan Goddess (Made You Look), Ojitos Tristes (Mootasadir), Propicia Vega (Niceto Vega), Risitas Pass (Distinctiv Passion), Salema (Il Mercato), and Se Cruzan (Manipulator).

The list of probables for the Gambier is quite shorter, with only 7 entered: Brigadista (Daniel Boone), El Brigadier(Mask), El Rayo Pass (Distinctiv Passion), Fogoso Moi (El Moisés), Inalcanzable (El Charlarín), Joy Conquistador(Roman Joy), and Kalero Hit (Hit It a Bomb). Animal Topic (El Animal) was eliminated for being incorrectly entered, as he is 3 years old...
