Firmamento’s Mare Shines Bright in the Clásico Producción Nacional (L)

The 1000 meters down the San Isidro turf straight suit Forever Rim (55.5 kg) perfectly. Growing stronger with each outing, she continues to establish herself as a rising force among the sprinting fillies and mares.
Bred and owned by Haras Firmamento, the daughter of Remote left no doubts in the Clásico Producción Nacional (L), avenging her prior defeat to Enjoy Dancing (Hi Happy, 60.5 kg) in the Handicap Fitzcarraldo. On this occasion, Enjoy Dancing finished a subdued fourth, her trademark late kick never materializing.
Under the guidance of jockey Aníbal Cabrera and trainer Adrián Reisenauer, Forever Rim always travelled comfortably, giving the impression she could take command whenever asked. That moment came turning for home, as she tracked leaders Durmia (Cityscape, 59 kg) and Firenze Key (Key Deputy, 53.5 kg) before unleashing her run at the 400-meter mark. By the final 250 meters, she was in front, extending with ease to the wire.
The margin was 1 1/2 lengths over Firenze Key, with Flamboyance Rim (Remote) another 3 1/2 lengths back in third. The final time was a sharp 55.89 seconds, with splits of 22.63 and 44.60.
Out of Forever Gilda (Van Nistelrooy) and tracing back to the enduring family of Unna (Cyrus the Great), Forever Rim continues her upward trajectory over the turf sprint distances. Should she keep progressing, her best days remain ahead.
