By Equal Stripes and a full sister to G1 winner Infartame and G2 winner Issa, she was purchased for US$16,500 by Gonzalo Laborde

A dream pedigree carried Infanta Bonita to the top price at the Haras Abolengo Annual Broodmare Sale, conducted Tuesday in a fully online format under the organization of (Arg) Sales.
By Equal Stripes out of Infanta Elena (Lizard Island), making her a full sister to G1 winner Infartame and G2 winner Issa, she was purchased for US$16,500 (10 installments of US$1,650) by Gonzalo Laborde, who remained highly active throughout the auction.
Approaching her fourth birthday, unraced, and carrying a confirmed pregnancy by Daddy Long Legs (Scat Daddy)—with a last service date of August 13—the chestnut mare belongs to the outstanding “E” family and counts among her close successful relatives the multiple champion Il Mercato (Not for Sale) and Portal Maya (Portal del Alto), winner of the Clásico Apertura (G2) and runner-up this season in the Gran Premio Gilberto Lerena (G1).
The second-highest price of the evening belonged to Amiguita Star (Grand Reward x Yankee Star, by Southern Halo), who reached US$13,500 on the final bid from José Girado.
A maternal sister to champion Todo un Amiguito (Mutakddim) and to Mi Amiguito (Indygo Shiner), winner of the Gran Premio Polla de Potrillos (G1), the mare never raced and is carrying a foal by Cosmic Trigger (Lizard Island)due next July. The bay mare is approaching nine years of age.
Somewhat surprisingly, there were no bids for Earth Song (Long Island Sound), maternal sister to reigning Champion Miler Earth God (Cosmic Trigger) and stakes winner Earth and Fire (Cosmic Trigger), despite being in foal to Daddy Long Legs.
Completing the top three prices was Samantha (Equal Stripes x Sambullida, by Easing Along), for whom José Frizzo made the winning bid at US$11,500.
The 11-year-old bay boasts a magnificent pedigree, being a full sister to G1-placed Sa Talaia, herself the dam of record-holder and G1 winner Satu (Catcher In the Rye).
Both mares are daughters of the unforgettable Sa Torreta (Southern Halo), who is also the third dam of Champion 2-Year-Old Male and U.S. Grade 1 winner Subsanador (Fortify).
Already the dam of winners Sammy (Greenspring), Stay Strong (Daddy Long Legs), Samy Girl (Treasure Beach), and Sayda (Daddy Long Legs), Samantha never raced and is also carrying a confirmed pregnancy by Daddy Long Legs, with a last service date of September 9.
