Saldivia and Pereyra Cap a Promising Friday with Wins from Coro de Rojas, Indiana Candy, and Tata Eterno

It was a remarkable Friday for trainer Juan Saldivia and jockey William Pereyra at Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, as the duo captured a highly promising triple. While the team frequently shines together, they will soon part ways—at least for seven months—as Pereyra prepares to compete in Dubai for the upcoming season.
The action began immediately with Coro de Rojas (Daddy Long Legs–La Persassolo, by King’s Best, Haras Los Turfistas), who lived up to his strong form—including previous stakes-level performances—defeating heavy favorite Ibai (Cosmic Trigger) in the Premio Vida Amorosa (1400 m). The colt surged down the stretch to establish a final time of 1:23.29, marking his third victory in eight starts at age three and signaling a bright future at higher levels as he continues to mature.
Shortly afterward, the team struck again with Indiana Candy (Señor Candy–India del Norte, by Jump Start, Haras La Esperanza), a debuting filly who cruised to victory in the Premio Tristeza Cat (1200 m) for three-year-old maidens. Representing Crazy Adrián Stable, she drew clear to defeat Doña Sandra (Storm Embrujado) by five lengths, stopping the clock at 1:10.81, leaving a strong impression in her first outing.
The triple was completed by Tata Eterno (Daniel Boone–Tattoum, by Lode, Haras Santa María de Araras) in the Premio Golden Yoga (2000 m) for older horses with one or two wins. The chestnut from Stud Garabo set a strong pace up front, battling Quoz (Safety Check) and separating the pair from the rest of the field. In the stretch, Tata Eterno drew clear, finishing nine lengths ahead of Q Poderoso (Forty One), with the favorite tiring to finish third. He covered the 2,000 meters in 2:03.44, and if he can replicate this effort, he is certain to be in the spotlight again soon.
