LA PLATA.- As is the case every Friday, the racing office at the Bosque received entries, in this case, for Wednesday the 11th and Friday the 13th of March, in a swap of dates mainly driven by the Lollapalooza festival, which will take place at the Hipódromo de San Isidro.

The stakes expectation will be significant, provided that none of the 3 scheduled high-profile events are canceled due to insufficient confirmed runners. The most important action will arrive on the first of those dates, when the Agustín B. Gambier (G3-1,200 m, dirt) has been rescheduled—a new step in the selective process for 2-year-olds that was delayed from the previous week.

There are now 9 probable contenders, although El Pirata (Il Campione) appears as a conditional entry. Within the lot, the presence of Chichipío (Angiolo), the fresh winner of the Clásico Criadores Argentinos del Sangre Pura de Carrera (L), stands out.

In his path, the bay could cross paths with: Brigadista (Daniel Boone), El Brigadier (Mask), Esthetic Boy (Cosmic Trigger), Fogoso Moi (El Moisés), Full Lujoso (Full Mast), Inalcanzable (El Charlarín), and Joy Conquistador(Roman Joy).

On the same day, speed will also take center stage with the Clásico Onesto Puente (L-1,200 m, dirt), for all horses 4 years old and up under weight-for-age conditions.

There are 13 possible participants: Arcanum (Horse Greeley), Belle Chanson (In the Dark), Curioso Azteca(Empire Aztec), Escape Room (Il Campione), Glorioso Rim (Remote), Infiltrado Cap (Safety Check), Le Bird(Le Blues), Pernicioso (Daniel Boone), Redentor Scat (Knockout), Vikingo Real (Seahenge), Chet Baker (Equal Talent), Por Ahí (Strategic Prince), and Vespaciano (Daniel Boone), the last 3 as conditional entries.

Meanwhile, for Friday the 13th, La Plata will feature the Clásico Vilas Light (1,400 m, dirt) as its main event, for 3-year-olds under weight-for-age conditions, where Campo Verde (Strategos) and El Resero Con Capa (Angiolo), the recent 1-2 finishers in the Clásico Jockey Club Argentino (L), could face off again.

Additionally, the following could be part of the field: Animal Topic (El Animal), Belle Chanson, Colour Vision(Univision), Major Mancake (Treasure Beach), Orpen Mask (Mask), Redentor Scat, Rodo (Flowing Rye), Super Number (Super Saver), Vampiro Zen (Zensational), Amuni (Tetaze), Buen Curuzucuateño (Buen Verso), and Mopti (Orpen), the last 3 as conditional entries.
